Riverbend Adventures goal is to instruct you in all aspects of fly fishing from: casting, fly presentation, line management, fly selection, fly tying and entomology, stream etiquette to hooking and fighting the fish.
This emphasis on instruction should leave you at the end of your trip, with a good working knowledge of the tackle, techniques and fly selection the art of fly-fishing required to becoming a better angler.
The Riverbend Adventures guide team are hard working, full time independent professional guides and instructors with an accumulation of over “90 years” as licensed fly fishing guides throughout Northern California waters, fishing for trout, steelhead and salmon! A day on the water with any one of our team will be a learning, memorable and fun fly fishing Experience!
If your more interested in learning about the ways of trout and steelhead and how to be a better fly fisher, we offer “ on the water” fly fishing schools for small groups from beginner to advanced anglers.
When you fish with Riverbend Adventures be prepared for a full day (7 to 9 hours) of fishing.
A typical day trout fishing finds us on the water between 7:30 and 8:30am.
Typical day steelhead fishing put us on the water around first light.
Lunches and drinks, tackle and flies are included in the price. You will need to provide a current fishing license, report cards and stamps, your own clothing, waders, and personal gear.
The summer months bring intense heat and sun; you’ll need to bring lightweight long sleeve shirt and pants, (for added sun protection) jacket or wind breaker plus raingear.
Spring, fall and winter fishing, dress accordingly, layer your clothing, because the weather changes quickly and can rain or snow anytime. You will receive a full Equipment list with confirmation of booking.
